Scholarship Opportunity for Independent Sector's Annual Conference

The Independent Sector announces a scholarship opportunity for Executives of Mississippi Delta region-based charitable organizations, including faith-based community organizations, that work to help vulnerable children to succeed. Organizations with annual budget of up to $5 million are eligible to apply. Nonprofit leaders who are under the age of 40 are strongly encouraged to apply as well as nonprofit public policy professionals. Awardees must participate in the entire conference.

The scholarships aim to provide an opportunity for leaders of small charitable orginzations based in the Mississippi Delta region (including those in Mississippi) to participate in an exceptional learning and networking event.

Scholarship applications are due by close of business on September 8, 2010.
